HES 5900 Series Heavy Duty Electric Strike Body

The HES 5900 is a high performance, compact and simple to install electric strike that features a unique concealed design for increased security and ease of installation. Say goodbye to cutting out frames to fit the typical electric strikes of the past. The 5900 fits into most existing cutouts with no cutting of the frame required. Simply drill through any existing ANSI dust box for the wiring, plug it in, adjust for latch height variants and insert two screws - you're done! The patented vertical adjustment accomodates door sag and misalignment and the strike, with a standard ANSI faceplate makes your job easier.

Available with or without a variety of faceplates, this strike will be the only one you want. Simply choose the faceplate style and finish that you need for your application and place your order. The 5900 has many outstanding features:

For use with standard deadlatches only, such as those found in residential and commercial locksets. The following locks have been tested and will work with this strike: Best 8K & F Series; Corbin CL3300; Falcon X & T; Marks Cylindrical; Sargent 6, 7, 10 & 11 Line; Schlage D Series with deadlatch; and Yale 4300, 5300 & 5400 Series. Will work with other similar types of locks that have yet to be tested by HES. Will not work with Adams Rite deadlatches, any type of exit device or moritse locks. Five year manufacturer's warranty.

We have many options available for you. A latch bolt monitor (LBM) is available which helps you know when the door is shut and the latch is projected into the strike. You provide the buzzer, light or other signalling device and the LBM helps you stay secure. A plug in buzzer, LED, rectifier or Smart Pac II is available as separate items on this site.

The price listed doesn't include a faceplate so choose from the list below:

• 591 = 4-7/8" x 1-1/4" for ANSI jambs
• 592 = 7-15/16" x 1-7/16" for aluminum jambs, includes mounting tabs
• 593 = 6-7/8" x 1-1/4" with radius corners and mounting tabs
• 595 = 9" x 1-3/8" with radius corners on wood jambs
